As part of Terra Incognita
A mapping of Glasgow city centre using the language of contour maps, where altitudes are colour coded and the changes of heights is
illustrated from blue for sea level to white for snowy tops.
For Glasgow landscape we mapped Glasgow city centre including the buildings as part of the relief, as they do ultimately constitute the volume of the city.
By altering the common visual language used to describe city centres, the reading of the city map becomes alien, the hierarchy of main
streets and commercial activities is lost in favour of topography and volumes, introducing new territories and new orientations.
